I need a Shipping Cost Calculator written in PHP / MySQL. The application should use XML to read real time data from different postage and Delivery Companies. The system should be organised in the PHP library, the config files, and an HTML Interface file that will hold the interface for the application.
It must be able for me to copy and paste or change the html interface files without affecting the functionality.
The cost will be calculated given some internal datas and there will be interaction with the webuser. The datas which will be furnished to calculcate the cost are: the package height, width, deepth, weight, the sender and the receiver country and postcode.
The results in HTML page should appear by lowest delivery costs. (the delivery time does not matter).
Please consider that I will copy and past the HTML Interface code to my own html files. (special care should be taken to avoid and SQL injection techniques)
AThere must be a way for me to easily add new Delivery options (i.e XML feeds from other postal/delivery companies) . The applications must support as a minimum (more Postage options will be consider a plus)

The international services:
-DHL

The cost should not be calculated for all posting services at each time. We only need to calculate it with the 4 international services and the national post service of the package sender. For exemple, if the sender is German, and the receiver is French, then the cost calculation should be done for : German post, DHL, fedex, tnt, Ups.
I know that Opencart and VirtualMart have already modules for some of this functionality. The Interface must be on an HTML, separated from the php library, and all interface Labels should be read from a file (to allow me to translate them afterwards). |
